Hello, I am currently trying to purchase a 1987 O'day 302. When I had the boat surveyed, the surveyor noted it had an Isomat Furling system. He commented that Benneteau used these at one time, but then did a recall on them at Benneteau's expense. Other sailing friends have said its no good because the extruded aluminium makes up the forestay and could fail. I would appreciate any comments, good or bad, from anyone who has this system or knows something about it. Thank you, Kurt Syer
