Islands 20 Sailboats

Looking for any information on the company that manufactured the Islands 20 sailboats. The title lists it as made in 1979, but there is no manufacturer's data plate on the boat that I can find.

Look on the upper part of the transom for a HIN. The first 3 letters denote the manufacturer.

Thanks, Tim. That worked. I had been all over the boat looking for the HIN and couldn't find one. Finally had to put it in shallow water and wade out to have a look from the outside. It was up underneath the edge above where the motor was hooked on. The XYX turned out to be Ocean Yachts of Patchogue, NY. I judge from the lack of a website that they are no longer in business.
