Anybody have any info on the 27 Islander? I have had little luck finding ant info like specs, etc I bought one this last spring and have sailed all over the San Juans. Love the boat. It's a 1970. I'm just having a heck of a time finding out about it. Any other web sites? Thanks Ron

The following link has a lot of Islander information (such as - your 27' originally sold in 1969 for $6,950!) There's also an active Islander list serv on Sail Jazz. They are wonderful boats - a 1966 29'taught me how to sail. Ned Strain s/v Family Therapy 1995 h336 Chicago

I had checked that site before with no luck. I checked again last night and they have a bit more info on the 27" They must not of made many of them. There's a fellow on the east coast that has one also so they must not be just a west coast boat. Thanks again Ron
