I have just finished renewing the gelcoat on the topsides of my 1975 Hunter 25 using Island Girl products. I bought the boat a year ago, after it had been abandoned in a boat yard for a number of years, uncovered and on the hard. The nonskid was popping off the deck and the hull looked terrible. Much oxidation, streaks, blotches, etc. Washing it with boat cleaner did nothing. I was sure I was looking at painting the topsides. It looked terrible. However, after using the Island Girl Sea Glow cleaner/restorer, sealing with Silken Seal, and then finishing off with Simply Briliant wax, the difference was simply amazing! I am so impressed with these products that I wanted to share my experience with all of the Hunter owners. This stuff WORKS! My gelcoat was in such bad shape I had to clean it twice with Sea Glow, and then spot clean some stubborn areas again, so it took 2 bottles to clean the topsides of my 25, but a small price to pay, in dollars and time, compared to prepping and painting the topsides. The result really makes my boat look like a different vessel. When I reordered more product from the company, I explained how well it worked on the port side, but mentioned that I needed the additional product ASAP so I could get the boat in the water. Normal delivery time is 2 weeks, I got it in 1 week, they sent it priority mail with a note saying they knew I was in a hurry for the product. Great customer service, great product.
