IG and polyurethane paints
Sorry I missed this posting for a day or so. The IG products are applicable to most plastics and that includes two-part polyurethane and (with certain provisos). Here are some examples: 1. You have a nice new LPU job on your boat and get a major scuff mark (paint of rubber). You should NOT use acetone or (espcially) rubbing compound. Use a little IG Pink with paper towel. This even works on single part paint (but you have to be more careful and do not let the product "sit" on the surface. 2. Mirror Hard Superglaze can be usd to protect LPU and paint from weathering. It even removes ocidation. Use IG pink for precleaning or heavier oxidation removal. If you go to the Chandlery on this site you will see a testimonial of Superglaze use on on an imron painted boat. I now have updated info on this boat and how long the protection has lasted if you are interested I can e-mail it you. It is not yet posted on the web.
