Island girl dident work for me
I used IG three years in a row.I followed the directions to a Teeee It was about 75o and sunny with some wind .Just as i was clean betting up it got cold and started to rain .When i went to the boat the next weekend it was in the water .The wax never dryed and the nats where eating the stuff and sticking to the hull.It almosed looked like the wax was atracting the dirt. The next year it was better,The wax that was in the sun dryed but there was still buggy spots that sucked up dirt .The third year the tec from IG sent me new wax.The new supper wax was the best yet.But It just dident last two weeks on the water line and looked dirty. The next year I just started waxing two coats on the hull ,threecoats on the water line, and its easy with a portacable polisher sander .what i did like about the island girl was that after you scrub the hull with that little pice of gray pad and cleaner the wax went on great and looks good.Island girl kept sending me there wax kit and chargeing me on my AMX card I think im in fot 500 bucks I never got around to sending it back .I think the island girl mite work better in warm weather but in northern NY it dosent warm up untill July and my boat was in the water for months John
