Is This Cheesy, Stupid, or Just Plain Dangerous

Don't get stung by that yellow jacket. What do those Rg 6 connections do. Maybe a weather head from home depot
I would get a cap on each of those to keep water out when not connected to the cables, other than being a bit of a trip hazard, it should work.
I did something similar for my cable TV hookup, but I was able to put my connection in my anchor pan. That way it is out of the weather, and pretty much out of the way.

Do you have a mast top vhf antenna for your radio. I bought adapters from radio shack and connect to tv when not using marine radio. Like at marina or at anchor
Yes, my vhf antenna is at the masthead and my tv antenna is on a spreader. You get tv reception thru your vhf antenna?
My A/C shore power connection is my anchor locker. So I have my cable TV cable taped to ,y shore power cable, and when I hook my shore power, I also attach my cable tv cable to a fitting I mounted in the anchor locker, and runs to the TV.
I don't have anything running to the mast.

Yep great reception sometimes when I'm far from civilization I need a 12v vhf amplifier I bought at Wal-Mart it's a inline amp with cord going off that had a little 12v transformer on end. Cut transformer off and installed cigarette lighter type end
Geez...I coulda saved $80 on the flying saucer! Oh, well. I understand the trip hazard, but I can still pull the cables out of the thru decks far enough to lay them flat. I wanted to put them thru the mast step, but with 4 sheaves and their r I forcing ribs, there just wasn't any space to drill 2 holes.
