Is this a common connector?

Finally getting ready to swap out my Mariner SR Nav-5 with a Nexus NX-2 system.
I'm trying to reuse the existing cable.
The wind sensor uses a connector like the ones pictured below.

Lo and behold, hidden in a compartment of the cabin I found these same connectors in the Nav-5 wind sensor cable.

What's the chance of finding the same type connector aloft?

Anyone have a source to buy a couple of these?

CommNav and dealers have told me the connector itself is not available.
I believe it to be made by Amphenol-Tuchel but have unable to locate it.
Digikey, et al, has an Amphenol of the same construction, but not the same configuration.

If I can't find it, I'll just have to make up a short inter-species adapter cable.

No idea but why not this?

A guy on my dock just installed a wireless wind instrument. The masthead unit sends a signal to a receiver and there is no wiring involved. New technology is amazing for this application. If you are replacing yours why wouldn't you go wireless instead of all these potential failures modes?

Don't try the internet. Get the catalog. It has much better pictures and discriptions. I think I've seen those in the catalog BTW.

No wiring involved? Where does the power for the transmitter come from?

I had to replace the same connectors and found that a four prong trailer connector was the same thing and at under $10. I reused the boots. I picked them up at O'Railey Auto Parts

The unit is solar powered so it must contain a small battery for night time use like a Nicro solar vent. I could also picture a miniature generator since the wind instrument is spinning around so much, might as well generate some volts with the free energy of the wind, but I'm pretty sure my dock mate's is solar powered. A search on the net suggests this is the right answer.

Gee Bill, check the paper catalog.... how quaint.... (tongue firmly stuck into cheek).
I've dug through the Newark, Mouser, and Allied catalogs. Can't find my Digikey one.
Called Newark this afternoon.. no joy.

The set back half seems to be the problem. The Amphenol 44 series does that, but only comes in DIN configuration. And is larger.

As to wireless, I considered that. There is an NX-2 wireless. But reading around, I see lots of "had to re-join it to the network", and battery (yes the solar cells charge batteries) problems stuff. Admitedly, more so with TackTic than Nexus. But I already have usable wire up the mast. And wire usually doesn't get "confused".

If needed, I'll just cut on a different connector onto the pigtail of the windvane.

That looks like a plain ol crimp on connector that a good auto parts store would have and you'll have too make up four then after inserting and checking that it works slide some heat shrink over the whole connection and forget about till the next time it needs to come apart
