A friend speaks of a 1985 Hunter Quest 36 foot sailboat....I've heard of the Vision and the 1980-1982 36 footer... is there such a boat as the 36' Quest and where could I find specs on it? Thanks, Bert Eggers...Saginaw, Mi
the Quest 36 is a kit boat version of the Hunter 36, originally offered by Hunter for a while. The kit boat consisted of the same Hunter 36 hull as used in the Hunter 36, but without the inner liner. Thus the kit required finishing of the interior and could be significantly different than the Hunter 36. I looked at one at the Hunter factory and at several others under construction back in 1984.
