Hello all, I know sounds silly but I want to make sure. My Westerbeke placard from the engine says model 102 with the serial number. However, when I check the Westerbeke website, they only list a model 10 two. They look the same and I am sure they are, but want to make sure before I start ordering parts. It is Sunday or I would call. I want to start making a list of the part numbers from their website that I need to order so I don't waste all my cell minuets waiting for them to A) find the part numbers and B) find out if they still carry them. Any additional knowledge or tricks on this engine would be HUGELY appreciated, as this is my first diesel.

Thanks,
JB

Thanks, I checked it out. I was told I have a leaking raw water pump (sits above the altenator). Marine Diesel Direct offers a fresh water pump and a sea water pump for this enginge. Any idea which one is the one above the altenator???

Raw water is the same as sea water. But from the looks of the diagram at MDD, the fresh water pump is behind the pulley that is above the crank shaft. The sea water pump should be the one above the alternator. Here is a link to the manual for the 10-2. http://www.westerbeke.com/OnlineManuals/33404_10-2-3.0_Parts_List.pdf
If all else fails, trace the hose. If it ends at a seacock...bingo...raw water (sea water.)
