I love my Oday 272 except for the cockpit seating. I know the curvature is designed to keep you in place when heeled over but it is very uncomfortable to me. Does anyone share this problem? If you do have you found a solution? I've thought about having custom cushions made. I'm sure that would be expensive and may not solve the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Expensive...But Worth It

I have custom fitted closed cell/heavy outdoor vinyl cockpit cushions 1 1/2"and they are about 12 years old and still look great. One down each side of the cockpit becnch and a curved one that fits the bridge deck. One of my better investments. The mind can absorb only what the seat can endure...so they say. Go for it. You won't be sorry. Any boat top shop can make these for you. Make a pattern from stiff craft paper and seek a few quotes. Don
