I am hoping to bring my O'Day 25 up to the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior. The weather up there tends to be a bit unpredictable and storms can spring up. I had been caught in a storm there with an O'Day 22 and we wished we had a smaller storm jib to keep some sail up instead of motoring through it.How does the O'Day 25 handle strong winds & waves with the standard main (reefed) and jib? Should I be considering a storm jib?I have another question, I have a 14lb Danforth anchor (920S) with 6-10ft of plastic coated chain and the rest rope. My back up anchor is a Danforth type similar design but just says '13' on it with a similar chain/rope combination. Should I be considering another type of anchor? Perhaps more chain? What do people recommend? If I remember correctly, some anchorages are good sand but there are a few rocky ones too. Thanks,sPk
