This is my first sailboat, which means that if you are reading this, you know more about it than I do. Having said that, research shows that my 1970 Irwin 27 has a drop keel. Where can I find information on how to actuate the keel? Where is the mechanism that retracts / extends it? Mechanically speaking, I'm pretty savvy, but I'm beginning to suspect that either the hardware is missing, or I am in denial about being mechanically savvy. Thanks in advance.
