Hi - this is from John Kinsella Vega 1447 "Breakaway"
Email John.Kinsella@...

My Vega is kept in Lough Derg Yacht Club in Dromineer near Nenagh Co.
Tipperary.

I'm interested in contacting other Irish Vega owners - for practical
geographical reasons it is easier to travel, see other boats etc.

I'm not in any way trying to undermine the excellent Vega Association
of Great Britain (VAGB) - of which I am a member.

It might be useful - or even fun - to visit other boats, exchange
parts, maybe even sail in company.. Easier if you live on the same island.

I have already heard from "Goodwinds" in Galway, "Eager Vega",
Kilmore Quay, Co.Wexford & "Frigg" in Carrickfergus (Belfast).

If anyone else in Ireland (Northern Ireland or the Republic) is
interested in making contact please email me - or post to the list if
you prefer.

Of course I won't publish anyone's details without their permission.

All the best,

John

Hi John

I certainly would be interested in keeping in contact with those who have Vegas in Ireland.
I have owned Vega 1781 'Curlew' for 19 years. I live and keep Curlew on the river Bann Coleraine Northern Ireland.

My wife Beth and I sail mostly around the North Coast and as Islay Jura are only 5/7 hours away we tend to move Northwards.

Best regards

David Daly
