Well it looks like IRC is getting more and more coverage. Most of the active racing clubs that ring the Sound are using IRC ratings this year. PHRF will be in use also, but it seems it's just a matter of time till it's totally replaced. A local sailing rag "WindCheck" just had a 2 page write up on it. US Sailing is now promoting this rating system. Wondering if any of you guys in Australia have tried it out yet(seeing as how you're sailing and we're not)??
