The T-34 Mentor is an Eflite RTF. I bought this one on Craigslist...flies great but need recovering in some spots. Balsa. I run a E flite Power 25 in her with 4s lipo and it does well under this setup. Weight to power seems scale.
I'll try the light technique. I'll also just tap and drill with masking tape to measure dill depth. I know the arm looks beefy and it is. I looked at other arms that would articulate to view the ipad outside and they would sag when mounted in this config. The other option was to mount it vertically on a flexable tube next to the cooler. This way it will never be hit by equipment and feet and such. I do have to relocate the fire extinguisher though. I'll post pics when I'm finished.
