iPad App for PC remote montor?

I seem to recall a thread that discussed an iPad App which could be used to make the iPad a remote monitor for a PC-based navigation application, but I can't find it. I've searched apps for the iPad/iPhone, but most allow remote access across the internet or wireless network. I'm looking for straight from the PC at the nav station to the iPad on deck at the helm.

Anyone aware of such an app, and experience with it?
