Outdoor Carpeting

I went to a carpet store where there was a nice selection. I glued it to all the exposed areas of the hull (not the overhead) and it looks very nice.

I used Berber Carpet

Hi Lloyd, I replaced the fabric liner with berber carpet. Used water based adhesive. Removed the old foam backing with a very stiff bristle brush. I made a form to hold the carpet in place to the inside port quarter but found not necessary. I was able to push the carpet in place the next day. Bottom line - better sound deading and looks great. Took me about 10 - 12 hours start to finish. Good Luck, Bob

WM or Redrum or Sailrite

West Marine has dropped their former fabric supplier and is now using Redrum for liners, carpet, etc. If it isn't in the catalogue yet, they do have it and the stores have a notebook with samples. Redrum might have a website. Also I would think Sailrite has all that stuff on their website.
