im looking to refinish some of the wood on my H31, does anyone know what was used from the factory . and where to get some, as some of the wood is in good shape and I dont want to mess with it, I just would like the refinish areas to match as close as possible.

Wood stain?

I used a wood stain card from the display at Ace Hardware, and selected a stain to wipe on, then finished with a satin poly, (I prefer satin).

no finish

Jeff; I bought my 1984 H31 new in June of 1984. At that time, the interior teak was left unfinished so that the owner could finish the teak in whatever he/she wanted. I do not know if that was continued in subsequent years with that model's run. I simply oiled my teak with hand sanding between coats with 400 grit sandpaper with touch ups every few years. Mac S.V. Daly's Seafin

Hunter uses Daly's Seafin on the interior and Daly's Profin on the interior decks. I understand that it can be purchased at WM. I bought it direct from Daly's a few years ago when I needed it. They are located in Bellevue, WA (see the link). Seafin is a thin oil with a finishing agent. A little spreads a long way. I didn't use a stain - just the Seafin straight on the raw wood - 3 coats.
