We have a 1987 Legend35 and the interior teak is in need of some help. Especially just inside the companionway and in the galley area. What can I use that will keep the color like the rest of the boat?
I have an '88 Legend 37. My companionway bulkhead is sun bleached also. I'd like to do a light sanding and refinish it also. This spring I had new teak cabinets added to where the pilot berth was and contacted Hunter for the name of the stain/sealer that was used. It's Daly's SeaFin Teak Oil. Got some direct from Daly's in Seattle and had a perfect match. Check www.dalysinc.com
Had the same discoloration in those areas. I couldn't find Seafin locally so I got West Marine interior teak oil (with a coconunt odor). Did the whole inside of my '89 H30. Looks like a new boat and smells like a pina colota. At least until you go in the head. My next chore, the toilet hose.
