I just attended a boat show in Boston and noticed that some of the new Hunters (33-45 ft) as well as other brands including Beneteau had artificial or simulated teak flooring in them. It looked pretty good. I have an old Hunter that needs renovation inside, does anyone know where I can buy some of this marine quality flooring? Any suggestions appreciated, thanks.

Your problem will be in shipping

I just replaced my cabin sole w/ a teak-holly, 1/2" plywood sheet. I found several suppliers, including the one Bill found in South Carolina, but they won't ship one piece of plywood. I drove to Annapolis to Exotic Woods and picked up a sheet for $177. But damn, is it gorgeous!!

Shipping problems

Not a problem, this product is a PVC product, and is flexible. Most like it will be shipped in rolls.

Maritime Wood Products

People-- see also Maritime Wood Products in Stuart, Florida. They sell REAL teak flooring and other woods as well as their excellent adhesives used for putting it down. We are doing that job right now on a Cherubini 44. If you call, say hello to our old Cherubini alum Bob Schultz (my cohort in building the 48 plug) who will be happy to help. JC 2
