Does anyone know how I can get the paterns or replacement cushions for an O'Day 23? I just got a boat that needs them.

An alternate idea

Dave, I don't have the patterns, but on my O'Day 20, after getting a bunch of crazy prices on having the cushions done, I just went to Garden Ridge and bought some outdoor cushions. I was able to redo the entire boat with lounge chair cushions for about $250. Is it perfect? No, but it looks pretty good, and now, when my kids make a mess and ruin a cushion, I'll just spend $20 and replace it.

I am assuming

that you don't have any cushions now ('cuz there are your patterns right there). You can make your own patterns with posterboard or cardboard. Just put down sheets of the material on the empty space and trace the outlines. I know that Bottomsiders and CCushions have the patterns for cockpit cushions in stock, but I have never heard of anyone who keeps the same info for inside cushions. My experience is that prices for replacement cushions are crazy high. The Admiral hates the fabric pattern on my '79 Oday 23 cushions, but when I told her that it would cost almost $3000 to replace them, she grew to like them. Try non-marine upholsterers; they are generally less expensive. Just make sure you choose close cell foam and an indoor/outdoor suitable fabric.

Can use mine as a pattern....

Mike.....more then welcome to use mine as a pattern...Was thinking of how I could trace them and then get them to you, couldn't come up with a good idea. Since we live kinda close to each other, if you want to come up and grab mine after the season (10/21...you could help me haul out as payment!!! ha ha), then you could have the winter to deal with it. Depending on your model (convertible or pop-top), I have the orignal tent encloser for the convertible model if you want a pattern of that also. Email me at picklefreekNOSPAM@yahoo.com (take out the "nospam" of course). I can even hook you up with a retired upholstery guy up here that may give you a good price since you can wait over the winter and not in a rush.
