Does anyone know where I might be able to get a replacement cusion for my aft berth on my Hunter 260? The current one was accidentally damaged beyond repair and need replacing. I don't know how or have the equipment to make a new one otherwise I might try that route.

Call Hunter

I have found Hunter to be very helpfull with replacement items. They do not stock parts (at least not the ones I have needed) but have directed me to the suppliers who originally supplied the parts to them. Each time I have called if not connected to the person who knew the answer I was called back within 24 hours.

Assuming that it is High-Density Foam...

...then it should be available at any cushion shop. I had one cut for my aft mattress last year at an auto upholstery shop.

don't call Hunter

The one replacement item for which I would not turn to Hunter customer service would be for replacement foam for a cushion. They use the cheapest foam possible. I've ended up replacing all the foam on both new Hunter's I've purchased within a year of ownership. A good high-density foam will transform your interior.

How much?

How much did it end up costing to have one made?

Try US Yacht Cushions

They're in St. Petersburg, FL, and made cushions for Hunters up into the early 1990's. I needed new fore and aft berth cushions for my 1998 H260. They didn't have the patterns, but they had tons of material and foam, so I sent them my cushion covers, they traced the patterns from the originals, and gave me a quote. They quoted for replacement 3" and up-sized 4" foam. I think the 3" full set was about $500 - high because the foam price has sky rocketed because of the price of oil. They did great work. Their number is 727-528-9644.
