Can any one direct me to where I can purchase new interior cushion covers for my 1985 Hunter 31.
Since my purchase of the boat this year the only complaint from the wife is that they are worn and smell.
Washing is an option but we don't think they will survive.

Thank you in advance for any advice

Any reputable upholster can do it. Suggest obtaining competitive quotes and select a material that will be easy to clean. Mine was done by the PO.

Here in Livermore California where it does not rain from end May to October and can run at over 100 deg for two weeks at a time I decided I could wash my cushions:laugh:

They weighed so much I could hardly move them, toook 4 weeks to almost dry and never lost that boat smell.

We bought new foam and I found it could be easily shaped with an electric carving knife. The two blades moving in opposite directions cut the foam without distorting it.

US Yacht Cushions in St Petersburg,Fl. has the patterns for your boat. They have just about any fabric you could imagine. They will send you samples and can give you advice on foam.

They have good prices and excellent service.
