I want to repair the corners of a couple aft-cabin cushions and wonderd if anyone has found a replacement fabric for thier 1985 Catalina 36 cushions. The material has a velvet look and is dark navy with small silver specks.
It's been a long time now (like 10 years ago) that I needed to replace the fabric on a cushion on my 83 Cat 36. The Catalina factory steered me to the company that they contracted with to make their cushions. I think it was in Costa Mesa, CA. The cushion company sent me the replacement fabric and I had a local upholstery shop do the work.
Thanks for the response Dick. My brother lives out your way so I've asked him to do some investigating. Of course the end result will be repairing the cushion with "horse-shoes" upholstery. Something that's close enough!!!
