Intake thru hull size

what size should the thru hull be to engine intake on catalina 30 with a universal m25xp engine?

Match it to the strainer fitting so the hose fits. On my boat it is all 1/2" but that can change. Just look at your hose.

The hose is 5/8 the thru hull is 1/2 inch . I have to replace the thru hull so I just want to make sure I'm putting the right one in .

I just put our motor it in a year ago so built it to match. Depending on the thru hull type or strainer you get the hose bib fittings on the can be changed out.

That's what's on our C34 with an M25 engine. No doubt you're correct.
