Hmmm.... I think painting a perceived group of individuals with a "broad brush" is the very definition of bigotry.
And may I point out that slavery was started here when we were a British Colony and it was Americans who went to war and died to end it. Okay, okay that is a Pollyanna view.... I'll admit it.... I said it just to make a point of how ridiculous this has become. The echo of slavery will be here for some time....Do you really want us to chronicle the British Empire's sins? We could do that for any country.=
....... as much as britmark irritates me.... you really must brush up on the history of slavery in north america as it relates to the british.... before you slander the great country that singlehandedly saved the world from Bonaparte, know that their powerful navy became an abolitionist tool at the forefront of the anti slavery movement some 60 years before the civil war began. I'm sure you knew that, but others may not.
That said, the legacy of the british navy does not extend to britmark here.... he's a fool who's based some sense of false rightiousness on a poorly designed opinion survey ... the fact that it was a hoax invalidates any true market data unless it was compared to a control scenario that was real.. and also.... this guy failed the most important test of such a survey....... that would be to remain objective and impartial, letting the data speak for itself.
He chose to try to support his prejudicial notions by purposefully presenting an outrageous scenario (that only Sail 123 and Mrlinuxo were sharp enough to detect as a hoax, btw) and then has the audicity to pass judgment on the USA.... who, I would like to mention, saved the Brits from the Nazi's........ Pretty weak, I'd say this guy is TROLL.
