Instruments - repair or replace

We have a 1980 Catalina 30 with Maretron speed, depth, and wind speed and direction instruments. Some work, some don't.

Does anyone have experience getting 1980's vintage Maretron instruments repaired. Who repairs them? Cost?

It would be nice to keep the matched set, but repairs may not be practical. Can anyone confirm if it's a lost cause when they fail.

I am having problems with my 1995 KVH depth & wind instruments. I think it's best to replace. A lot has changed in electronics over the last 20 years. One good thing, the prices have come down.
