The Made In England Focus depth/speed instrument display on my boat stopped working. I sent an e-mail to Luhrs requesting their help, since no one here is familiar with this product. Does anyone know whether this instrument can be repaired or where I can find a replacement? Thanks. Terry Cox

Pushing my memory

I'm really pushing my memory here but I recall a few years ago JSI (Johnson Sails) in St petersburg, Florida was carrying an inexpensive instrument setup which might have been your "Focus". They seem recently to have been swallowed by sailnet.com. The old number was 800-234-3220. I wish you luck on this one. My guess is you'll end up doing the repair with a new set of instruments.

Focus made by B&G

The Focus is made by B&G (Brooks & Gatehouse) & if anyone knows a repair shop they should. I was able to contact them direct and found them most helpful. Think I started with a phone call (0590)675200. But ended up using e mail. If you want here e mail address respond to this post.
