Instrument LCD problems

I have a suite of NAVMAN instruments...depth, wind, speed, and repeater. All three that have been outside ( protected by covers when not used) and now do not show anything on their screens. This has been happening gradually. Can anyone point me in a direction to get the repaired? NAVMAN is no longer in business, and contacting the next best source was fruitless.

Strange, when you Google "navman" you get lots of hits. But then I found an article about Navman in Practical Sailor(you have to scroll way down): http://www.practical-sailor.com/letters/Nautical-Chart-Plotting-and-Best-Boat-Painting-Products.html . But this is probably the source that you already tried. They do mention a name and phone number.

I just went through the same problem with all my Navman gauges. The problem is in the ribbon cable from the circuit board to the display. It is not repairable. Contact Navico at 1-800-324-0045. They will offer you a replacement display at a reduced cost. The through hulls are not affected by the problem, only the displays.
