Installing tiller pilot on C 27

I am getting a Simrad TP 22 for my Cat. 27. Anyone have any installation tips for this. (i.e. hardway needed, location, etc.) Thanks

Hi Mike - You'll definately enjoy your tiller pilot, especially if you need to motor any distance. The best thing to do is to physically bring the unit down to the boat with the manual and hold it in place 90 degreed to the tiller. Once you know the best position you'll be able to determine which bracket assembly will work best. Have fun! Trevor

Simrad installation

Your tillerpilot mounts under the tiller with an accessory bracket that Simrad (or Sailnet or WM)sells. The tillerpilot instructions give pretty detailed descriptions and measurements of where it should be placed.
