Installing Swim Platform on 1986 Hunter 34

I am interested in adding a "swim platform" to the stern of my 1986 Hunter 34. I am considering teak slats on a stainless steel frame with an overall width of 14" - 18". I would want the ladder to hinge off the port side of the platform and fold up onto the platform when not in use. Is there a kit sold for this specific purpose or would this have to be fabricated? What would be the best method of mounting/securing it to the transom? Are there other materials that would be less maintenance, such as Starboard on a stainless framework? I would like to hear from anyone who has added such a platform and would greatly appreciate any photos of the finished product. Thanks

Low maintenance!

Larry: Whatever you decide on make it low maintenance. Teak is wonderful when it is new and shiny but can look like crap in a short time. Check out this link, they make them out of a similar material to Starboard. http://www.plasteak.com/products.html
