Installing Raymarine ST4000 on Wheel

Hello, I purchased a Raymarine ST4000 to install on my 1979 O'day 30' wheel helm. I wonder if anyone has suggestions on the locations of components and if they used the rudder sensor, as well as any problems etc

I have one on my O'Day 28 and I have considered a rudder sensor as well but looking at the mounting below I chose not to, but Raymarine did say that it does improve the operation of the pilot over all
