Installing Raymarine GPS

I have a Hunter 33 with separate Raymarine speed and depth instruments. I am planning to buy and install a Raymarine C70 gps unit(possibly used). Has anyone done the install themselves? I believe I have power to the pedestal and a separate breaker on my panel for gps. Just wondered if it's pretty straight-forward. Any gps advice welcomed.

GPS Install

Tim, I installed my GPS at the helm on my '99 H310. I mounted the ant. to the pushpit and used S/S clamshell to pass the cable through the hull. I added electric back to the distribution panel following existing looms. Overall the project was very straight forward. It is advisable to use seperate dedicated and properly sized wire to power each electronic system.
