I will be removing my old 4' section of T-track this spring. The end is broken and I would like to put a new track on the boat. My question is how hard is this to do? I have read on other forums that it is a real problem to "bend" to the shape of the rail. The size of the track is one inch. Am I going to have a real problem with this project? Any tips on how I can do this? Thanks Dale

Bending t-track can be done

at least they say it can done, by putting in one bolt at a time and bend the track just enough so that you can drill the next hole. As I recall, that track is pretty stiff. Good Luck.

pattern first...

Teepee's method is how I've seen yards do it... I'd make a pattern on a piece of plywood first that is close, and do the initial bend there. That way you are putting less torque and pressure on the boat when you do the final fit. Just a thought. B

Hi dale I have a C30 with a long track about 8' my track bends its about 1" wide and 1/2" thick and the track is springy ,i think you have to get a track with the same hole patern and bend it around wile you put the bolts in .When you take the bolts out .Look out John
