I am thinking of installing an interior deck covering to my catalina 30. I have done research on carpet and vinyl but I wonder if anyone has any experience with Lonwood products? If so, do you like the way it looks and would you recommend it?

That's the stuff Catalina uses in all their new boats. I like it. Looks good, is very durable and easy to clean. Not sure how hard it would be to cut and install since my boat came with it. There's a recent thread on the 309 forum on this site that mentioned another product that was shown at the Annapolis show last week (Nu-Teak, I think).
It appears that this material is easily cut and then glued to the deck with an adhesive. I am concerned that this will make the cabin a bit dark. Is your flooring light or dark in color?
I would like to see a pic of this in the 30. I have a 27 that had carpet wall to wall when I bought it, pain in butt to check bilge so I pitched it all into the dumpster, but my wife really wants a nice looking floor.

best investment. It looks great and is extremely durable. Easy to clean and will not dent or scratch.
The material is the same Catalina uses in their new boats. It is not cheap but it is beautiful. I had it done at Kingman's Marina in Cataumet Mass.
