I have a 2007 Bene 373 and wonder if anyone has installed a washdown pump for the anchor. The choices seem to be to try to route hoses from galley or A/C seacocks to bow......... or to add new seacock somewhere under Vberth. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

We added a thru hull under the head sink. Put the pump there, ran wires to a waterproof switch in the anchor locker

On our 423 we have a forward head - put a t on the fresh water inlet and mounted the pump under the sink of the head.

Many thanks for the responses to my question. There is only one head.... aft on Stbd side. Could put a T onto sea water intake in head and run forward. I guess my real question is about the ability to run line forward on this 373 Beneteau. Has anyone done this from the aft head on this 373 model...? And is there access and space to run the water line up to the anchor locker?
Again, thanks and I appreciate the advice and help. Richard

Hi, I have the same problem on my Beneteau 361 and haven't figure it out yet. I was thinking on putting a T on the AC seacock but I don't know how route the hose to the anchor locker. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am still looking, if I find something I will post it.

I pondered long and hard how to do the pump for my B323. I decided it was easier to run wire than to run hose, so I put a thru-hull/seacock in the cubby under the vee hanging locker. The pump is in another small space formed by the panels around the water tank. There is probably a messanger line in the same conduit as the depth&speed cables go through.

Our 331 has an anchor washdown with a thruhull to the side of the freshwater tank. The previous owner had it installed. Has anyone ever considered avoiding the thruhull by throwing over a coiled intake hose when using the washdown?

Not exactly the same, but for the B235 I mounted a Rule bilge pump in a SS strainer-type bucket but the pump intake did not have anything on it. With an extended wire and the hose to reach the deck, I just lowered the bucket into the water, plug in, and hose down. Nice that I could take it to other boats. And with all the small holes in the bucket as filters, I could use it when jellyfish were in the water.

.... put a tee on the fresh water inlet ....
I tee'd off the sink drain for the head intake, but when pumping, it would suck air through the sink drain, so had to put a stopper in the sink to flush the head. Seems the thruhull/seacock and plumbing put the TEE just around the water level. Just be sure your water intake and plumbing give you an adequate source of water.

Clever solution, Ron!
