If I can remember....
I read about this a number of years ago. Line up the tube on the outside of the mast where you want it to be and tape it in place. Drill straight through the tube and throught the wall of the mast every three feet or so with the size drill you will be using for the pop rivets. Slip the tube into the mast and line up the first few holes. Pop rivet the first hole (bottom of mast) Using a nail bent into an "L" shape, insert the nail into the third hole and line it up. Pop rivet the second hole. Line up the 4th hole with the nail and rivet the 3rd hole, etc. Work your way up the mast and you're done. Pretty nifty, huh!?! I thought so when I read it! Good Luck.
