Installing a Head

Has anyone installed a real head on a Oday 222 I just bought the boat and my wife will not deal withthe Porta potti. I am thinking of putting the head where the porta potti is with the holdiong tank behind it under the Vberth. If any one has done this already I would appreciate all suggestions and comments.

Lost My Head

I just removed the head from my 25 to install a porta potti. The new Porta Pottis from Thetford, especially the Aquamates are really nice. I got the Aquamate 875. It has a six+ gallon capacity and can be plumbed to a deck pumpout fitting. It works like a "real" head but without the holes in the bottom for water intake and without the smells of saltwater. It will be much easier and cheaper than a traditional head.

I gave you the link. You can buy them from this site. Prices are probably as low as you'll find too.
