Listen to Bob. If it's an exact changeout model pump, you already have the fittings. Two wires & two connections later, it's installed. Tell the mechanic this.
An added thought for you to think about. I carry a spare start solenoid incase one blows out. Just a couple wires to hookup & mounting screws. I also keep a spare fuel pump onboard. An electrical part can burn out at any time. At least with these two spares, you have a better shot of getting back without having to call for a tow.
