Installing a chartplotter in-hull transducer in a '85 C30

I am planning on installing a Raymarine chartplotter a65 on my 1985 C30. I also want to use an in-hull transducer (P79) and from what I gather from past posts is that the best location to place the transducer is in front of the keel, aft of the v-berth water tank. Has anyone who has used a in-hull transducer had a problem is that location? I am not sure where/how to check if that is solid fiberglass in that area in order to get a good read from the transducer.

Mine was installed there when I purchased boat with no issues. I also have one behind and to starboard of the keel next to the fuel tank. That one get interference occasionally from the keel wash.
