I picked up a small s/s sink while on vacation in Florida this winter. It was only $30, new, but was a "second", has a small scratch near the drain. It is 12" in diamter and 8" deep. It just covered the hole from the old sink so no patching to be done, a bit of cutting and it dropped in. I think it will be much better to use than the old one and looks so much better too. I also put in a Whale pump, also a big improvement, I need to add a 1/2" spacer block under it so the pump handle would clear the counter fiddle (used plastic cutting board for that).

Ok, I want one. Make that two. My boat is pulled out for the broiling season down here. Was considering selling but with the potential need to trailer to un-oiled waters I've decided to keep the 260 and make a few upgrades.

Didn't have sinks on the short list but the originals have turned orangish/yellow so your post is a nice prompt. Any name/mfg to look for? Looks sorta like it's just a big SS spaghetti pot with a hole;)

One add-on for the short list is an A sail similar to Charisma's avatar above. We do some longer runs down the coast and it seems I'm always at the right angle to fly an A sail(until I buy one probably).

Thanks, Mike

Mike, I bought mine from the Sailors Exchange in St. Augustine (link below). They were very nice guys to deal with, took the time to match up the drain fittings ect. They had quite a few of these sinks in January when I bought mine. There were several slightly different sizes, some had a slightly wider rim but were not as deep. I bought the narrow rim deeper model. I also saw them for sale on Ebay from a guy in Vero (also in your corner of the world). It is an easy solution to the plastic sink that Hunter supplies.
good luck, Bob

ps I also heard of guys going to a restaurant supply shop to buy two rectangular pans for a steam table, then installing them as a double sink ! (all they need is a drain installed)
