Installed Companionway Cover

We seem to have issues with water coming into the cabin during heavy rain on our H240. Elaine had me order a cover last month and it finally arrived. I got most of the screw snaps in this morning before the rains came. The color is Captain Navy and the quality is excellent. I ordered it from the forum store. I used an 1/8" drill for pilot holes and inserted the screws into the caulking tube to coat the threads before installing.

You will be very happy with the results. I did the same thing on my H26. One thing that helps is to put something under the cover to give it a little bit of rise. I use the throwable and have also used a tennis ball. You can just make out the small "hump" in my cover in this photo. In this photo, I was using the "throwable"
