I am looking at a Hunter 29.5 and was wondering if anyone has experience putting in AC after market. Looking @ ballpark cost and effort. I would have it put in professionally. Not something I want to tackle myself. Thanks for the input.
Bought a 9.5K complete A/C and install kit on eBay. It was trully 99% of what we needed. Cost was $900 including the water pump. FOr some reason they sent me a 16.5K unit and found out that the 9 would have not cooled enough for a 31 in Florida. Had my boat guy install took 2 5 hr days @ $40 an hour.... Total cost was $1300. We got lucky on the eBay deal. Works great......... writing from the boat now, it's 89 outside and 74 in the boat. Good luck
