I have re-posted the question as I got a lot of great answers and tips, but I never got an answer as to where I should drill the hole to mount the power inlet on the boat.

I saw a modular shore power kit with 2 outlets, a plastic input for the shore power main connection and a 110 v panel breaker board and all the electrical wires for each outlet...

Now having all that, where is your 110v input located. Was it factory, dealer or self installed?

Any tips, photographs, directions, guidance or experience you have will help! Also good are you thoughts and opinions...

Thanks in advance,

I have some pictures of my installation on my H 260. I'll post them when I get home.

Here's a shot of the panel. One breaker for the shore power, the other for the battery charger. Second shot is power inlet. Standard outlets were installed on galley island facing table and behind aft berth, on starboard side on wooden bulkhead. Charger installed there too.

If you got the EZ AC DC kit I think you only get 10 ft of main wire so that will kind of limit your location..On my 23.5 I installed at motor well ran wires under rear birth to port seat area as that is where batterys are, put panel there.Can plug charger in back of panel and ran out let wires under sole to sink area.Easy install.

ABK;

First learn how to raise the mast and launch. Then ask about the shore power as to not to overwhelm you. I will help you with that and you have my phone number
