I'm in the process of redoing the interior finish of my 1981 Hunter 27. The past owner had used Teak Oil. The problems are stains in a lot of areas and some places that are black that are be a combination of mold and good old fashioned dirt. I am first cleaning with a solution of bleach and water using a Scotch-Brite pad and then doing a light sanding. This seams to do a good job cleaning things up. Now I need a light stain to kind of blend the darker areas with the lighter ones. After this I intend to varnish the wood. Does anyone have a sugestion for a stain? Also has anyone used Cetol for exterior Teak? Does anyone have a sugestion for an exterior Teak finish? There is so little exterior Teak on the Hunter that I don't mind recoating say once a year.
