What do we think of these? My GPS didn't work today, took apart the fuse holder fuse was all corroded roughed it all up a bit, put grease on it and back together GPS works?

These holders look like something from a car, not sealed or anything. Is grease the correct mitigation strategy? wrap the whole thing in electrical tape to keep out the salt air?

Welcome to boating, no keeping corrosion out. . Electrical tape would be useless. Try Flex Seal Black, aerosol liquid rubber.

Consider heat shrink tubing. As cheap as those inline fuse holders are, I would consider replacing the old one, too.

Maine Sail had this to say about inline fuse holders in a thread a few months ago -

"install a ... in-line water-tight ATO/ATC fuse holder and ... fuse on the back of the breakers load terminal. Just be aware that in-line AGC (glass fuse) fuse holders are one of the most problematic and most unreliable electrical components used on boats so try avoid them when ever you can."

Replace the existing with one of these, when reconnecting wire connections ensure you use the proper size crimp splice with heat shrink tubing with sealant
