Injector pump shims

Older Yanmar 3HM35F, Injector shims in manual it reads coat shims face with some sort of Lock tight compond that nobody seem to know anything about. Yanmar no help as expected. Has anybody run into this problem and what did you use. Asked two deisel shops no help. Was thinking of using Hylomar allows removal and reasembly, if you need to add or remove shims for timming change?

Thanks for the spelling lesson, I already had emailed Loctite before I posted, they could not tell what product Yanmar used for this aplication. Lost in translation

Just use blue Loctite. Not red. The blue will come off without a "lot" of effort, whereas the red requires heat. And you do not want to have to apply heat to the pump, especially the heat it takes to break the bond. We're talking torch heat, not heat gun heat.

loctite, or sealant? I think they mean sealant. Permatex makes both products, could be part of the mix up. Whatever you use, keep it thin.
