Initial charging of recirculating head.

Fellow sailors,I have the original manual that came with the recirculating head on our 1979 h30. Nearly useless. How is the initial three gallon charge with chemical accompished? Is it via the bowl followed with a flush?Thanks,Bob Alden1979 h30 "Summer's Glory"

That's the way

Had an Ericson with a recirculation head. The head itself is the easiest access to adding water/treatment. The system worked well of us.
