Inherited Daysailer I

I have inherited my dad's Daysailer. It has a plaque in it that reads "Built by the O'Day Corporation, Fall River, MA hull number 13490, class number 2361".
Can any of you tell me what year this was built? It looks to be a Daysailer I from the photos and lack of self-bailing, but what else can I tell prospective buyers. Thanks for any help.

You have the 13490th O'DAY built and the 2361st Day Sailer. Definitely a DS I, I would guess the year would be around 1966-7. The fact that the plate says Built by the O'Day Corporation, Fall River, MA hull number 13490, class number 2361" tells me that she was built after George O'Day switched over to building the boats at his own company rather than having them built by Marscot Plastics (change was around 1960 or so). I used to have a WIDGEON (12'4" O'DAY) and her O'DAY Hull# was 22698, she was a 1969 model as far as I know, and the O'DAY Hull# refers to total O'DAY production, so my boat was built about 9208 boats after yours. I have a collection of DS pictures and info, and in there is a picture of a 1966 model that is Class# 2055, based on that I'd estimate that yours is a 1966 model. It appears that O'DAY built about 1000 or so Day Sailers each year at that time. For reference, the DS II was built 1971-85.
